Days tick by, then weeks, then months… I have found myself
pulled in so many different directions lately that priorities easily become
muddled and progress takes a backseat to procrastination born of frustration
and uncertainty. It is hard for me to believe
that nearly a year has passed since GenCon last August. So much has happened! And here my online log sits, naked and
abandoned for so many months.
I’ve read the entire “Dresden Files” series, attended
UtopiaCon (for whom I painted a cover for their on-site guide and marketing
materials), attended a writing conference, grew a year older, celebrated a
ten-year anniversary with my amazing hubby who took me on the perfect getaway
for two clever and creative people, wrote a book in three days, and landed a
book in a Quarterfinalist spot in the ongoing ABNA contest.
I could go on for pages and pages about all I’ve neglected
to share with my loyal following, but my eyes lately are ever on the
future. There are a lot of great things
coming, and I can’t wait to share them with you! This site and my others will soon be
undergoing an overhaul. I will be
launching my first newsletter, Kimber Digest, with a monthly/bimonthly publication. I will be launching sites for all of my
current books that have till now gone unrecognized.
I am excited about the changes, both in content and in
participation, to come in the near future.
I will give you full details with each project as I undergo the planning
and implementing of each. I am eager to
offer all of my readers exclusive content and great giveaways as well as have
fun interactive elements such as contests, games, and polls.
Come back often to see what’s new and to reap the benefits
of my deep appreciation for your continued following.
